In the Mail: Cookie-Covered Bows

Bows and ribbons have never really been my thing. I own precisely one bow: a white, lacy little thing with pearls that I thrifted several years ago. I rocked it back in high school with floral print and hipster glasses (aka thrifted frames with the lenses popped out). Thankfully, my wannabe hipster days are behind me, and I've moved on to a more "mature" pursuit: cookie-covered bows!

Because I'm new to Storenvy, I only recently discovered Bow Kuma. I'd seen the dripping frosting effect used on bows before, but never found it very attractive; somehow, with the addition of tiny, decorative sweets, the aesthetic of these bows came together beautifully.

Don't they look good enough to eat?!

Three things coincided that made me decide to place an order:
  1. I got my tax return, so I had spending money.
  2. I found a 20% discount code (SPRING20) on Bow Kuma's Tumblr.
  3. The shop had good reviews from several different sources, including Tumblr.
I bought the Cookie bow (in white) and the Cookies and Creme bow, which totaled just under $10 thanks to the discount code. I was a little nervous checking out because I'd never used PayPal before, but the transaction turned out to be stupidly easy.

When they arrive, I'll post a followup review and (hopefully) outfits I've coordinated with the bows. Until then, I'll be jamming out with my bro Cookie Monster in anticipation of their arrival.  (ノ゚▽゚)ノ
